Celebrating 30 years of fundraising for Acorns Children’s Hospice

In September, Acorns Children’s Hospice celebrated the opening of their first shop in Cotteridge 30 years ago.

Volunteers – many of who were ex-Cadbury staff – were managed by the late Ann Cullinan from Stirchley and set out with the aim of raising £3000 towards the Acorns Children’s Hospice Appeal. Raising £1000 on their opening day in 1997, “Ann’s Army” went on to raise over £100,000 towards the first Acorns Children…
